"Dhol tasha forms an integral part of Ganeshotsav in Maharashtra. They have enjoyed the beats of dhol tasha since childhood. They want people to know about this Dhol tasha culture and tradition. So here we bring our own and Canada's first pathak "Canada Dhol Tasha". So some enthusiastic community members initiated the idea in 2016 and created CANADA DHOL TASHA.

Canada Dhol Tasha is a group of individuals who come from various backgrounds and occupations tied together with zeal and passion for music to take the beats of Dhol and Tasha (Indian traditional drums) to larger community reach. 

Despite being very busy in their professional and personal lives, they passionately practice and enjoy playing Dhol tasha for their own pleasure.”.
